SLIMPORT VISIONS

Slimport circular vision frames with their clean lines enhance the appearance of any door. This flush fitting design is available in stainless steel or zinc plated mild steel ready for colour coating. Now practical vision requirements need not compromise aesthetics. Slimport vision frames with their unique flush fitting design are the answer. Ideal for luxury office suites, corridor doors, classrooms etc. The fixings are around the bevel and not directly on the face – this improves the visual appearance. The flush fitting rim is ideal for ‘clean room’ situations. Security fixing on one side only prevents unauthorised tampering yet, in the event of glass breakage, allows easy replacement.

It is available to suit four different door cut-outs: 250mm, 350mm, 450mm and 550mm. With countersunk holes in the bevel return on one side only, and 25mm screws that pass through the door cut-out and fix internally, the Slimport looks good aesthetically, and is totally free from visible fixings on the corridor side.

Material & Finish
GV: 18 GA mild steel, zinc plated finish.
SS: Grade 304 stainless steel, satin finish.
PS: Grade 304 stainless steel, polished finish.
CP: 18 GA mild steel, chrome pearlite silver plated to match S.A.A.

Door and glass thickness
To suit doors of thickness 44-46mm, 50-52mm and 54-56mm doors and 6mm thick glass (supplied separately). The glazing pocket is 10mm wide.

Glazing tape and intumescent strips
1.6mm and 3.2mm polyvinyl chloride foam glazing tape with pressure sensitive adhesive on both sides available to order. Also FS2002 hard puff intumescent strip 1.6mm and 3.2mm thick for fire doors. Slimport vision frames are fully tested to one hour.

Installation
The fixing screws pass through the door cut-out and fasten to the opposite side of the vision frame, eliminating the need to drill the door for through bolts. They are designed for flush fitting to both steel and timber doors. They are supplied with matching 4.2 x 25mm self tapping screws, raised countersink Phillips recessed head.
